IoT – Keeping Washrooms Stocked for Air Travellers

Challenge

The US airport is one of the busiest in the world. It wanted to increase washroom passenger satisfaction rates by improving the availability of consumables: tissue in cubicles, towels next to sinks and soap dispensers.

Solution

TeraCode designed a connected washroom system that notifies janitorial staff when consumables require replenishment. This system also sends hyperlocal information about the location of janitorial staff to the facility management team.
