IoT – Consumer Robotics App Design

Challenge

The manufacturers of this robot vacuum cleaner wanted customers to be able to control the equipment remotely, rather than relying on controls located on the machine itself.

Solution

TeraCode designed and developed the end-to-end UI/UX that enables users to configure and control their vacuum cleaners from their mobile devices.

Technology

Applications: iOS, Android mobile applications, BLE, WiFi connectivity.

Outcome

The app tracks usage and notifies end users when maintenance is necessary (filter replacements, for example). This increases the overall lifespan of the product and improves its overall performance.
