Our greatest resource is our employees. We seek out the most talented individuals we can hire and help develop them personally and professionally. All new employees are subjected to special courses designed to prepare them to work in the TeraCode environment. Their English language skills are assessed and they are placed into an appropriate English course (we have full time English teachers on staff).

Retention is a critical metric of our success. When you work with an offshore team you are not just paying for software to be delivered, but making an investment in developing a team steeped in the knowledge of your business, technology and processes. At TeraCode we take enormous pride in the fact that our retention rates are higher than 95%. What this means is that when you start working with a team at TeraCode you can expect to have a long and rewarding relationship with those individuals.

Employees are also provided with numerous learning opportunities through TeraCode University. TeraCode University is a privately funded training program offered free of charge to all employees as well as programmers in the general community. TeraCode staff volunteer to teach courses (on weekends) on all different subjects - such as teaching the implementation of a new framework or how to implement unit testing in a project. The courses last anywhere from 2-8 weeks and enable us to find highly talented programmers in Buenos Aires, assess their skills and offer them positions within TeraCode. For current employees, it is a way to improve skills, get promoted and take on new challenges.
